You can easily add and manage a rotating header or rotating ads throughout your site through by using Rotator Administration. Depending on how you learn, you can either watch this video which demonstrates how to create a Rotating Header or you can follow the steps below.

Creating a Rotator

1. Visit your Site Administration.
2. Under Content Controls, click on Rotator Administration.
3. In your Rotator Administration, click to Add Rotator.
4. Give your new Rotator a name (like "Homepage Header").
5. Click Add a Slide to create your first banner image.
6. Choose your image from the Image Manager pop up or Browse and Upload an image from your computer.
7. Add a Title.
8. Optionally, add a Caption which will display on your header (ex. "Friday, August 1 at 6:30 P.M. is our Church Picnic. Click here to register."). You may choose to leave this blank if your image already has text.
9. Optionally, select where the header slide Links To.
   1. By clicking the Choose link next to the first radio button, you can select another page on your site.
   2. By adding a URL next to the second radio button, you can link your slide to another website.
   3. Selecting the Nothing radio button, you choose not to link this slide to anything.
10. Add more slides by following steps 5-9.
11. Save.

Adding a Rotator as a scrolling Header

1. Navigate to Site Administration > Content Administration.
2. Click Add Header.
3. Click on the Widget Manager on your Editor's toolbar.
4. When the Widget Manager menu pops up, scroll down until your see Rotator then select it.
5. Find your Rotator in the first drop down menu.
6. Enter the width and height of your Header (These numbers will vary based on your skin. See this help file for sizes. If your skin does not appear on this list, contact us.). The size of your Header should be the same size as your slide images. If they are not, black space will display to make up the difference.
7. Choose your Transition, Transition Direction, and Speed. You may have to utilize trial-and-error until you find the settings you prefer. Here are all of the transitions being shown at once.
8. Select your Navigation Position and Navigation settings. This determines where your "Previous" and "Next" arrows, thumbnails, pause, and other controls appear and how they behave.
9. If applicable, enter your Caption Text Size (font size) and Caption Position (where it will display).
10. Choose your Timer Appearance (visible or not) and Timer Align. The Timer displays as a rotating circle.
11. Click Add.
12. Select Published as your Status and Save.

This Rotator will now display as your Header, in rotation with the other Headers you have added. If you want the Rotator to be your only Header, retire or delete all other Headers in your Content Administration. If you wish to edit your Rotator, do so in Rotator Administration. You will not need to edit a Header once you have made changes in Rotator Administration.

Adding a Rotator as a Scrolling Ad

1. After creating your Rotator, navigate to Site Administration > Content Administration.
2. Click Add Ad.
3. Click on the Widget Manager on your Editor's toolbar.
4. When the Widget Manager menu pops up, scroll down until your see Rotator then select it.
5. Find your Rotator in the first drop down menu.
6. Enter the width and height of your Ad (These numbers will vary based on your skin. See this help file for sizes. If your skin does not appear on this list, contact us.). The size of your Ad should be the same size as your slide images. If they are not, black space will display to make up the difference.

Follow the steps above, except navigate to your Ministry Administration instead of your Site Administration.
