How Do I Create A Shortcut?

A Shortcut is a unique name used to direct users to specific items with a minimal amount of effort. Any Shortcut can be accessed by adding it to your URL.

For instance, an item with the shortcut "myitem" on the "mydomain.org" domain can be accessed via:

  1. http://www.mydomain.org/myitem 
  2. http://myitem.mydomain.org

To create a shortcut:

  1. Edit the item (News, Event, Content, etc.) you want to add a Shortcut to.
  2. Click the Display tab.
  3. Add your Shortcut name to the Shortcut field.
  4. Click Save.

Review a listing of all of the Shortcutsthat you have created or any of the already created shortcuts that are reserved by the iMinistries system.
