Setting up an EFT process is something that needs to be worked out between your organization and your bank. This is not something that can be done through a merchant account. You are able to have someone donate on the website using a credit card but we do not support having that done automatically for liability reasons.
You can however set up a form on your website. You can fill out this form, send back to the person, and they can contact their bank to do an automatic withdrawal every month.
Or you can contact your bank and ask for details on EFT payment. They will likely provide a form for people to fill out, should they want to authorize you to automatically transfer funds from their accounts. We have functionality available to allow you to collect all of the pertinent information for making a withdrawal.
You can create an online form to have people fill out what dollar amount that they wish to donate, bank account number, routing number, etc. You can use our SSL layer when you create the form itself which will allow you to encrypt any text field such as routing number or bank account number. You may even decide to create a news article announcing the availability of this functionality.
